Is Pen mightier than Sword?
While the whole “free” world watched with indifference and dark insensitivity, militants of the Taliban overran Kabul and are on their ideological duty to establish strict Sharia law across the country.
1. United Nations is a joke, it is an absolute puppet of a handful of rich nations which serve only the rich. If it is protecting a mineral-rich African nation, it is only because a rich nation is interested in protecting that. UN was a sitting duck when the USA invaded the Taliban and it is doing the same when the Taliban is wreaking havoc. Call for peace and restrain means nothing, American B52 bombers were bombing the Taliban as recently as last week, how can they now expect mercy from the Taliban to save their tail while they sneak out from the last airport in their control?
2. Taliban is a radical Islamic organization that follows Koran to the last word. Whether it is punishing women for not covering their full body, stoning someone for being homosexual, committing adultery, or blasting of Bamaniya Budhha, the Taliban does everything as per pure Sharia sans any progressive mix. No amount of whitewashing can change this fact. Calling radical Islamic terrorists doesn’t make you an all-out Islamophobe who hates progressive Muslims. Radical Islamists are the number one killer of progressive Muslims around the world especially Muslim women.
3. After more than 20yrs, a Billion of dollars, and the loss of thousands of American and Afghan life, America has abandoned the Afghani people to their fate, while leaving the Taliban far stronger than it was in 2001. Taliban now has direct support from many relatively rich and strong Islamic nations + indirect support of Russia, as well as it now has its hands on stockpile of US arms, ammunition, vehicles, and combat aircraft.
4. The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (after the Taliban’s take over, known as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan) is a member of 57 nation strong Organization for Islamic Cooperation of Islamic nations (OIC). Not even one of them has sent even a single soldier to protect the life of an average Afghani. The nearest Nuclear-armed Islamic nation Pakistan is not even ready to take in refugees. Similar to the Syria crisis, the UN is asking the rest of the free world to take in refugees while none of the oil-rich Islamic nations takes none. All this while we Indians get lectured (from foreign agenda paddlers to in-house paid stooges) for asking for papers from illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslims.
Erstwhile British India got divided into majorly 4 states: The Republic of India — with a majority of Hindu population
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan — with a majority of Muslims
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan — with a majority of Muslims
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh — with a majority of Muslims
Out of these 4 nations, the minority population in 3 of the states has continuously and exponentially declined. India is the only country where the minority population has not just survived but has thrived and has not been considered a 2nd class citizen via constitution or otherwise. Still, in the books of pseudo-Seculars, guess which is the Fascist country?
5. The condition of women and children is going to be absolutely devastating. None of the so-called women and child rights activists and their tweets could and would be able to save them. No amount of lip service from the humanitarian conference held in the scenic valleys of Geneva or Toronto can save that 15 yrs old girl from getting mass raped by Talib fighters. Advised by shrewd power brokers and image managers, Taliban 2.0 is trying to put a moderate and reformed face. But this begs two questions — Can this whitewash the earlier crimes committed by them? and if so, what was the need of NATO forces to invade Afghanistan? They could have been just left to reform on their own.
6. The USA is the world’s biggest exporter of military hardware. A planet with no conflict between nations or a nation with no armed civil conflict doesn’t suit the USA’s economy and foreign policy. The USA has an absolute influence over the progressive world’s collective psyche through total direct/indirect control over western media. They have never won a war decisively ever after the 1944 victory over Japan (thanks to Atomic researchers of USA). But through various movies, media, and news, and of course the huge war machinery they possess, they maintain an absolute position as a superpower in our psyche. The USA is blessed with a neighbourhood that can not attack its soil, they are never at war on their own soil, which is protected, peaceful, and hence naturally suited for progress. XYZ has rightly said that “America is not at war, only the American military is at war, America is at the shopping mall”.
7. The new age jokers of India who sit on dharna to protest against something ‘said’ by the French president against radical Islamic terrorist acts happening in his country addressed to his people are now tight-lipped about thousands of fellow Muslims being raped and murdered in Afghanistan by radical Islamic terrorists. This hypocrisy exposed them to their bones and beyond. These thick-skinned creatures are hypocrites of such high order that they will shout slogans against Israel/France, ignore China’s atrocity on Ughyr Muslims, ignore Pakistan’s persecution of minority Hindu/Sikhs, call for settlement of illegal Rohingyas in the same breath without batting an eyelid. We need to be vigilant of such elements but there is no need to panic. I see many people getting enraged because some Twitter joker says something anti-national. There is no need to get enraged at any keyboard warrior. The only people whom we need to keep on our security radar are the people who can mobilize people on the ground to pelt stones, burn public property or pick up guns. This is what a mature security establishment does.
8. Coming back to the topic at hand, the conquest of Kabul is not over yet. The Taliban are trying to form a moderate face in order to win over the international community and gain the legitimacy of their Sharia-compliant government. But, there is an important player still in the ring: Amrullah Saleh (Vice President in the Ashraf Ghani government) who is backed by Ahmad Massoud and his formidable militia of the Northern Alliance. Ahmad Massoud is the son of Ahmad Shah Massoud, a.k.a. Lion of Panjshir, who was supplied and silently backed by Govt. of India in the Atal Bihar Vajpayee in his fight against the Taliban in the pre-USA invasion era. Panjshir is a stronghold of the Northern Alliance, which the Pakistan-backed Taliban has still not managed to conquer. Saleh’s co-operation with the Indian establishment goes back to 1996 when he was fighting the Taliban under the leadership of Ahmad Shah Massoud. With Saleh claiming the Presidential palace and vowing to never stand together with the Taliban, it will be interesting to watch how New Delhi plays its cards given the fact that India has Billions of dollars invested in Afghanistan.
